DIVERSE:Stoney played for Arsenal as part of her long-standing career

Casey Stoney has played as a defender for Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool during her career, as well as Lincoln and Charlton Athletic. She played a key role at the heart of Arsenal's defence as they won the treble in the 2000/01 season.

With her strong leadership and knowledge, she captained Team GB to the quarter-finals of the Olympics in 2012.

After a short spell with England's backroom staff, Stoney succeeded in becoming Manchester United's Women's coach. Stoney's expertise and logical thinking drove the club to win the FA Women's Championship in their first season. They now play in the competitive Women's Super League.

Will Manchester United win the WSL under Casey Stoney?
